We love the food here. Restaurant is a little utilitarian for me, but it works for the food. Always fresh tasting and delicious, customers and staff are deceptively friendly. Not my go to, but always a good meal.

The place is great and the stuff is super friendly. Authentic middle eastern food. The only place I found that offer Mint Tea. The prices are reasonable with very good quantity and quality. Definitely recommended.

Most excellent restaurant!! Car broke down and sitting at the Firestone across the street. Needed a place for lunch I could walk to. Very pleased with my choice. Don’t forget to ask for garlic sauce with your order. All the food is so fresh and made with love. Definitely would come back. I might even still be here for dinner today lol. Looking forward to it. Will make my day better.

Sahara Cafe is one of my favorite places to eat. I like flavor in my food. I don't like when I have to find a sauce from my table to find a way to give my food flavor. No worries here. Their shawarma's have delicious flavor. Everything I have tried is worth coming back for. I love that their flavors are well balanced and work great together. I can't tell you how many times I went to restaurants that had fresh quality ingredients, but the flavors didn't match and taste great

This place is worth the drive. I love the Lebanese tea. I love the meatless options. The saluted veggies, kullage, and Lebanese tea are some of my favorites.

The service was fine, but the food flavor and quality has dropped way off from our last visit. The meats were gristley and had an awful old grease smell, and didn't have much flavor. The falafel was undercooked. The hummus and grape leaves were alright. Guess I'm eating leftover pizza when I get home. 😒

Really a favorite place for my wife and I. Unpretentious and down-to-earth Middle Eastern restaurant. Everything here is good and authentic. The staff here is great, service is always friendly and informative, and the lamb chops are amazing. The grocery store next door is not to be missed.

Came across this restaurant after checking out the market next door. Food was authentic. Have some patience because it seems to be a family own small business. The ball looking appetizer was delicious! Would just order that if I ever come back to New Orleans!

An Arab-American Colleage brought me to lunch here and the food was so good! Extremely polite and friendly service. I had the combination plate with chicken and beef with rice and salad. The meat was delicious and the salad with tomatoes and vinaigrette so fresh and tasty! Great prices too. Highly recommend Sahara Cafe!

Food was fresh and flavorful. Service was excellent! Portions are medium. Gyro meat was chunked not sliced, kabob style, Also has hummus on it. Good taste.

Overall good food and great service. The building is a little older building. If you like Mediterranean food give them a try.
